Today’s Featured Session | Geronimo Family!

What a hoot this family was! We started out with more formal attire in a park setting and then went more casual in an urban setting … so much fun! They are a great family and were up for anything… definitely made my job super easy! Enjoy :)

Today’s Featured Session | daisies!!!

“The splendor of the rose and the whitness of the lily do not rob the little violet of it’s scent nor the daisy of its simple charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its lovliness.” -Thérèse de Lisieux

Daisies are my favorite flower! I had them at my wedding and I have one tattooed on my ankle … I love them!

Today’s Featured Session | Great Stukeley Village Parish Church

I was out on another church hunt and decided to stay close to home! This church is just down the road from the military base and I wanted to make sure to capture it. It was a beautiful day with wonderful blue skies! I also took some of of the beautiful rapeseed fields I could see through the tree line and also some of the flowers around the cemetery.

Today’s featured session | Sawtry Church, UK

I got a new camera several weeks ago and as soon as it was charged, I was out the door to try it out! I drove around looking for churches to photograph for the book I am working on (a storybook of English village churches) and I ended up in Sawtry.  Enjoy!

In honor of Memorial Day 2009 | Madingley American Cemetery, Cambridge UK

The family and I went to pay our respects at Madingley American Cemetery in Cambridge this afternoon. I have been wanting to go as I had heard from so many people how beautiful it is. They were all right! What a beautiful tribute to all those men who fought and lost their lives. It was really humbling to walk around and read the names, ranks and home states of each military member. I am so glad we were able to do this as a family and on Memorial Day weekend also. Here are many images I took today. My whole set can be seen on my flickr account, here.

Today’s Featured Session | Miss Sara ♥♥♥

I have been lucky to photograph this little beauty three times now! This was my first time taking her outside somewhere on location though, and what fun we had letting her explore. Blue eyed babies sure make me swoon, too! Enjoy :)

Today’s featured session | Beth and Cameryn’s Hearts Apart Shoot

I met up with these two lovely ladies one evening about a month back here on base and we did a quick mini shoot as part of my partnering up with Heart’s Apart. We had a great time and got some wonderful portraits to send off to brighten someone’s day downrange. I hope to partner up with Heart’s Apart again in a few months and have some more people sign up! I know when my husband is TDY or deployed, he loves getting new photos. Here are some from our shoot!

Today’s Featured Session | Noah turns 2!!!

Here is another adorable little guy I have photographed before (at 9-ish months old) and had the pleasure of photographing again. He just turned two and so we went out into the rapeseed fields with some balloons! Little kids + balloons = HAPPINESS!

Catching up and today’s featured session | Mr. Logan and his lovely smile!

Life and business have been very busy lately so I have found myself about four sessions behind in blogging, as well as some more church photos and just some fun ‘me’ stuff too … so for now I will be featuring sessions/images from a few weeks ago and hopefully I will catch up and start my sneak peeks back up!

Life with two kiddos and a hubby certainly do keep me busy, but I also was able to take a solo trip back to Atlanta a couple weeks ago. Just me! I sure did miss my kids and my husband and just England in general, but I had a great time back home too. Saw great friends, ate lots of good food and did LOTS of shopping! I also was able to get a new tattoo I had been wanting to get. After it heals I will get a decent photo of it… it is on my foot and I L.O.V.E. it!

So I have several sessions and events coming up and also hope to plan another beachy family vacation somewhere this summer … also need to start gearing up to get some English sightseeing done. There are still a few sessions available for May and June is pretty open! I have some new items I am offering and will do a blog post about them soon … also, I have something in the works that I cannot quite share yet but I am excited about it! As soon as I can share, I will!

Ok enough talking … on to the best part, the photos! Here is Mr. Logan who I also shot last year around this time. He sure has grown up a lot and gotten even cuter if that is possible! His smile just makes me happy :) Enjoy!
